2008 Anoka Halloween, Inc. Button Design Contest

Design the Anoka Halloween button and win $100 cash and a $20 Anoka Halloween merchandise voucher.

Anoka Halloween, Inc. is having a button design contest for the 2008 Anoka Halloween celebration. Deadline for the button entries is March 3, 2008.

Rules and Guidelines:

1. Contest is open to the greater Anoka area residents (Ages 16 and up).

2. Design that incorporates landmarks of Anoka with a Halloween theme are highly encouraged.

3. Design should include the following words: Halloween Capital of the World Anoka, MN 88th Year or 1920-2008

4. Design may contain up to 3 colors. The background color must be black, which counts as one of your three colors.

5. A computer generated design is preferred but will not have any bearing on the button design selected. The design is to be created in a 6-inch circle. The actual button size is a 2-1/2-inch diameter.

6. One entry will be accepted per contest participant. If your button design is chosen, you have to wait one year to reenter the button design contest. Example: Winner 2008, you can reenter in 2010.

7. Designs will not be returned. Winning design becomes the property of Anoka Halloween and may be slightly altered. Original artwork and wording will be used if possible. The Anoka Halloween Committee judges button designs on simplicity, creativity, and displaying community pride.
